Thank you for subscribing to Hyperion
Many email and internet companies use programs that block unwanted e-mail (SPAM). Unfortunately, the programs also block e-mails that you WANT.
To Ensure You Are Receiving Your Hyperion Emails Do the Following:
Be sure to add the Hyperion email address to your email white list so you can always receive the content and updates.
A whitelist is just a list of accepted items... in this case a list of email addresses from which an email blocking program will allow messages to be received.
Here is how to add Hyperion to your whitelist so you never miss out on our content and updates.
- In your inbox, locate an email from firstname.lastname@example.org (ex: the welcome mail for the product you just purchased)
- Drag this email to the primary tab of your inbox.
When opening an email message you should see a "+" symbol next to From: and the sender's name. Click this "+" and then you will see an "Add to contacts" pop-up where you select "Save":
Select "Mail" and "Preferences" from the top menu.
In the "Preferences" window, click the "Rules" icon. Click the "Add Rule" button.
In the "Rules" window, type a name for the rule in the "Description" field. Use the following steps:
"If any of the following conditions are met: From Contains." Type the sender's email address in the field beside "Contains."
Select "Move Message" and "Inbox" from the drop-down menus. Click "Ok" to save the rule.
Outlook 2003 & Later
- Right-click on the message in your inbox.
- Select "Junk E-mail" from the menu.
- Click "Add Sender to Safe Senders List."
